Navy blue and lime green
were the colours chosen by Catherine and Etienne for their wedding. They
live in Mexico but wanted their celebrations to be in the beautiful village
of Nun Monkton where Catherine’s parents were living before their move to
France immediately after the wedding.
Fortunately the weather
kept fine for the bridal party and guests to walk to the church ceremony and
back to the marquee reception where they were greeted by a jazz trio.
Champagne and canapés
were served outdoors before the main wedding breakfast and a croquembouche
was chosen as the wedding cake. The cake was cut using the ceremonial sword
used by Catherine’s parents at their wedding.
