June 6^th and 9^th 2007 were extremely hot days; luckily these were the dates for the civil partnership ceremony of Lindsay and Lisa and, 3 days later, a fantastic party.

Black, white, glamour and glitz was the request for both events and guests certainly dressed up for both occasions. The girls had made the bouquets, buttonholes and corsages themselves, and used white calla lilies, white and black feathers and gemstones.

The celebrations began, for Lindsay, Lisa and their bridesmaid, with a ride in a “New York Taxi” to Southport Register Office to be met by close family and friends. A walk followed the ceremony to have photos taken on a zebra crossing and in various spots around Southport.
